Professional Wills (1 hr CE)
If something unexpected were to happen to you, what would happen to your clients? This course walks through the Professional Will: Why you need to have one, what it should include, and how to make sure your professional will is in the right hands when it's needed.
1. By the end of this course, participants will be able to identify the significance of having an established professional will.
2. As a result of this course, the participant will be able to identify three components to include when creating a professional will.
3. As a result of this course, the participant will be able to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of professional wills, such that the participant can establish one in his or her own practice.
Benjamin E. Caldwell, PsyD is the author of Basics of California Law for LMFTs, LPCCs, and LCSWs. He has spent approximately 10 years as Chair of the Legislative and Advocacy Committee for AAMFT's California Division. Dr. Caldwell serves as adjunct faculty for California State University Northridge and the Wright Institute in Berkeley, CA.
